Wow, thats fantastic! How do you drive? Do you give it some stick? or drive gently. I normally pull about 450km tank.
Edit: Although on long drive i can get about 7L/100km
how many km's do ppl get roughly from 1 tank of fuel
my average this tank has been 7.7L per 100km and im at 598km.
Hope i dont run out of petrol b4 the 600km mark!

i usually average around 8.4-8.5 but i thort id not give it stick at all this tank just to see how many km's i can get...
i get 10l/100
ran out of fuel on the freeway...603km's!
I don't believe running a car completely dry is particularly good for it.
I'm not sure what it is with you guys, or whether it's just driving in medium-density traffic for moderate distances...but I'm struggling to drop under 10L/100km. Also, does the consumption improve substantially as the car gets run in?
All in all - it's the only thing that irks me about the car. Everyone else is getting 8L/100km, and I'm struggling to break 10 driving like there's a bomb underneath the throttle.
On a long drive with no traffic, cruising at about 60-70km/h, the consumption did drop to 6.2L/100km for a half hour drive.
Wand, Im the same mate. But i dont hold back on mine. WHat fuel you running? HOw olds the car?
The car's been running on BP Ultimate. It's a little under 2 months old - about 600km on the odo at the moment.
I don't drive it hard - but it does make short trips in medium density traffic. Oddly enough, it doesn't get much worse in peak hour?
Mate its way to early to tell yet. thats roughly only 2 tanks of fuel if not less. By the time mine was 2 months i had around 3000km on it. Id give it a bit of time for the motor run in.
sorry not polo. my mk1 golf gets me $10-100k on premium unleaded not to sure of L/km its a 1.8 k-jet
