Yeah they did mate, and *touch wood* I haven't lost any of those ones yet! They may be a tighter fit than the factory ones, not sure.

They'll be a tight fit when new.
It's when they've had multiple heat/cooling cycles that they become loose!
Silastic is the answer.

I ordered the one's off Ebay a while ago, haven't had any issues. Keep my three spare ones in the glovebox just in case.

on the topic of centre caps does any1 know if there are vw caps that fit aftermarket rims?

Well it's now official, I've lost all of my original caps just as my car clicked over 4000km! Good going VW!!
I knew this last one was about to fall out, as it was noticably loose. In comparison, all of the ebay caps are tight as, and some have been there for 2000km or so.

So this leads me to conclude, the ebay center caps I posted above are better
