Mine came with self tappers from the dealer.
Need to attach a new font plate.
Car came back from panel beaters with a new front bar and there are no holes in it.
Before I drill holes, does anyone know if this is right? You just drill where the holes on the plates are?

Its definately B/S..
A mate of mine in his Lamborghini Diablo (yes Lamborghini Diablo) was at my house.
Car parked on the side of the road in a suburban street... 7.30pm..
A cop car drives by and immediately does a u-turn and pulls up..
Gets out and looks at us... Nice car boys.. He walked around it and put his hand on the rear tyres to see if they were hot.. (They werent)
Who car is it? It was registered to my friends dad.. My mate told the officer it was his dads..
The officer says...does he know you have the car. My mate said whats it your concern? Then the officer says "wheres the front number plate". My mate responds it doesnt have one... there is nowhere to put it.. We bought the car without a front number plate.
The officer threatened to defect the car if he didnt return the car home.. He returned it home immediately.
So Id have to conclude front number plate is necessary.
mine is on with some strong double sided tape.
One the day I took delivery, the dealer waited for me to arrive before putting my front plate on. I walked in and some guy was about to screw the plate on when the salesman came running it shouting, "Don't put it on yet! The gentleman is a designer, if it's not on right, he won't be happy."
I asked if there was any other way to attach the plate, but they didn't. Thankfully the self tappers they used were very small so I don't imagine it would be too hard to mend if I needed to change the plates.

definately (100%) need a front number plate in queensland. If you got a cop without his daily coffee, it is defect worthy. 95% of cops probably wouldn't care, though I've witnessed it. 4WD lost it in the mud, good times
