Has anyone had these made?
Mechanics, I am right imagining that fluid expansion in front left cannot effect either front right or either rear line, because all fluid is routed through the abs block? I'm essentially trying to decide wether to have fronts only made, or fronts and rears.
firstly i have not had the lines made up for this car, however i have re-plumbed other older and more simpler cars.
i think in general the front brakes are in a separate system to the rears. i.e. both front brakes need the same pressure, as do the rears. but the pressure requirement front to rear is different.
having said that i would be surprised if our front brakes were indeed on separate fluid circuits. but i have not looks and can not confirm.
the abs simply bleeds the excess pressure front he wheel thats been detected as slipping. the net effect is therefore as you say, the expanding fluid in one side does not effect the other.
i wouldn't mind if someone could confirm or correct what ive posted, it would be good to know certain.
