Forge008 springs

Been trying to find an answer on the net carnt seem to find what I'm looking for. Recently got stage1 giac tune for the polo I have a forge 008 dv kit came with three springs I don't have a boost gauge nor does the boost gauge option work with torqe pro so my question is witch spring? I'm assuming green, what's going to happen if I was to run the yellow spring? last one what psi is stage1 boost? o:

Green spring 5-15psi
Yellow spring 15-23psi
Blue spring 23+ psi

From memory the GIAC tune is a pretty solid one boost wise, so I'd imagine you are up to 23psi in certain situations. I'd throw in the 15-23psi spring. Drive it for long enough to get really used to it before changing to another if you feel like testing - that way you'll feel the change rather than placebo'ing yourself by chopping and changing.

Iv been using the green spring for about three weeks I'll put the yellow spring in today see how that goes. Am I going to get more boost what's the deal with the different springs the blue one is very stiff, green isn't.

No you wont see more boost unless the lighter spring was allowing a boost leak. Its all about what happens on lift off. With the lighter spring only a small lift will cause the valve to open and dump off the excess boost pressure in the intake tract. Problem is it can dump every little last bit in there when all you wanted to do was come out of the throttle a bit for a fast corner and then you have to build it up again. With a stiffer spring a small lift will see enough excess boost pressure released from the intake tract but hopefully not so much that you have to build all your boost back up again after. If you go too far and run too stiff a spring then on a lift you won't be getting rid of enough boost and you'll hear the cho cho cho sound which is compressor surge which is basically the turbo compressor wheel shuddering as pressure waves interrupt how it is spinning. Basiaclly choose the spring that won't dump all your boost, will retain really good throttle response after gear changes or lifts, but that won't go into compressor surge territory.
