    FORGE vs SAMCO TIP's

Im thinking of getting a better TIP for my 9N3 Polo GTI, and have been doing a little research.

I can get a SAMCO TIP in a custom colour (Camo) slighty cheaper than a FORGE TIP, but I'm not sure

    which one is better?

Is the Samco to suit a polo ?

Dont think it really matters what brand it is, my TIP is 1/3 Frankenturbo and 2/3 Forge

Whatever you get just make sure it is for the Polo 1.8T and not Audi/Beetle/Golf 1.8T - they won't fit !!

Both SAMCO & Forge have a listing for the Polo's 1.8T, BJX

Yeah leaning towards SAMCO, as it is hand finished (Camo) and is still cheaper than forge...

Just had a quick look so correct me if I'm wrong but the Samco looks a lot shorter than the Forge? :/

That Samco one is not the full version, it uses the stock metal section that bolts to the turbo inlet. I think they did a full one as well, but have not seen in it listed personally.

How hard are these to install? I've done similar stuff on Subaru's and they are a PITA because they need to go under intake manifold etc.

Any links to where to purchase these from?

Heaps of UK online shops (venom motorsport, awesome GTI, etc).

It is difficult due to the limited access and tight fit. Some have done it in as little as a 1/2 hr, some (like me) spent a good few hours hating it before it went on.

Before you get this, you'd want to invest in things that make a bigger difference IMO (diverter valve, dump pipe, colder plugs, PD160 or other intake solution, tune).
