Ive checked the part with people on the forum already, and its the right one.
Its starting to get hella frustrating...

Does anyone in WA have one fitted??

If you do not remove this pipe, you run a big risk of damaging it and causing a coolant leak. Those who have done this job will know this pipe & the difficulty in getting around it. I know for a fact that several of my customers have had to order a new pipe after busting theirs!

Its a real PITA, there are two 6mm bolts that hold it to the block and there is pretty much no slack or extra hose to get it out of the way.

Just take care in that area!
    Hey Guy,

Do you understand why Quattro Motors would not install these TIP's?
I use them for all my APR stuff but these appears a bit beyond them?

    Cheers

I suppose because of the fitment issue & the risk of damaging that pipe if you dont do it properly, they would rather not do it unless do it properly.

I suppose the big thing is how much do you expect to pay to have it done?

(Just a guess - to do it with the pipe off would probably be 4 hours @ workshop rate - so $400 to $500 ???????)

Only my guess though - I have no idea otherwise.

I fitted a couple and they are an absolute bugger to do (with my size arms thats for sure).

It took me 3 hours to fit the TIP myself. It isn't hard job, but it can be a bit of a bastard. I fond if you removed the 6mm Allen bolt, and the 3 13mm bolts that hold in the transmission linkage(make sure the car is in neutral), that this gives you enough room to play around with to get the old TIP off and the new TIP on.
    This is my install post...

I confirm that this method works as i did mine reffering to it !
A great help i have to say
    Shaneth talked about too
And i've posted pics in my thread to complete the install post of Blitzen.

On this pic, you see exactly where are screwed the 2 bolts you have to unscrew as you can go ahead with the install :

Just be carefull to not scratched the coolant pipe near the TIP !
I scratched mine when i remove one of the clamps on the stock TIP... :
