    Some update:
    they've asked me to give them the part number of the part that is replaced by their part so they can check if it is compatible... Found the part number in etka and I have sent it to them... waiting for an answer now.

    If you need any Forge bits chime in, got a pretty good relationship happening there. Ill check it out, had a good chat to one of the guys there, now on the same level which is very good

    Here's the answer I've received from Forge:

    "‘the counterweight is in a different location to the normal 5 speed shifter (1J0711051D) but the rod coupling and mounting nut are in the same orientation, as is the quadrant for the side to side shifter. It may just fit, but i can’t guarantee it’"

    note: the part number that I've sent them is 6q0 711 046 R.

    My Forge importer has this in stock, and he is trying to find out if this will work with our car... if it does, then I will let you know how this goes.
