ttstuff.com cant do it any cheaper for multiple units but the free worldwide shipping thing is good enough already.

I suppose individual orders would make more sense then if we arent paying for shipping.

Its a good price. With ECS selling them at 185 then around $40 postage, this is much cheaper and does not require too much coordination.

I'm going to jump on that one, feel free to wait for my trial...

So far I can see that the Forge item needs to be serviced .... which is a pain .... but anything of merit to make the switch ?

Also, I picked my R1 up from the states for much cheaper than you are proposing for this - approx $150 shipped
If you diverter could be doing a better job, it may be robbing you of boost, etc.
Whilst I have an understanding of how they work, I can't comment on comaring them, but I've heard members talk about holding higher boost after using a different spring with the 007. As for servicing, I've not had mine stick, but think a little lube every 50,000 kms or 2 years cant hurt. As for the price, this is only 15% more and much newer. I'm not saying yours is bad, but I have heard of people returning the R1 for not holding boost and making a farting sort of sound. Personally, never tried it and it may be superior to any Forge design for all I know...

Another option is the GFB dv.. I have that on my car and it suits my polo much better than the 007 dv..

Can you elaborate on the difference? what springs / shims were you using in the 007?

Its not a blow off, although you can get ones that do a bit of that as well... If you'd prefer to spend a bit less, you're welcome to my Forge splitter when the 008 arrives. Works fine, but always interested in a new toy...

Basically as there does not appear to be any benefit to a group buy, I'm thinking we go through the TTStuff website. I've placed my order, I'll keep you posted as to the experience.

Would love to get local reviews, especially on holding boost and sound. Seems to be much smaller, as I did switch from 007 to R1 due to the 007 splitting the boost vacumn cable. Just my experience.

Kangfu, if you get this, you know what's up - lol

Mine arrived today from TTStuff. Over 3 weeks, but thats what you get with surface mail.

Its nicely packed, they've provided nice hose clamps, 3 springs, 3 shims, allen-key, even the cable tie for the vac line. Paint on the springs is a little crude, but obviously only to indicate which is which.

There is a little glossy booklet that goes through how to install it in detail, but nothing on how to tune it, which spring is which and how to set it. I've noticed Forge is quite careful not to make any promises or figures with these products which is smart, there are so many variables. If you say it will hold 20 PSI, you might get people ringing, wondering why there otherwise stock car does not boost to 20PSI now.

I'll have a play tomorrow, I could chuck the stock diverter back on to see / show any difference. Not really bothered, so let me know if that interests you.
