    Interesting...

How hard is it to replace them? Can I do it with the 3 tools i own?

Anyone got any photos of b4 / after?

Is this just to get rid of the noise or is there a mechanical benefit to this exercise?

I’ve just gone and bought some Mondeo Links today. No idea how you fitted them since the VW runs a bolt through style?

Did the mondeo links need modifying?

By the looks of it, the Mondeo Links won't need modifying...They look like they attach the same way as the standard Polo links.
To fit these you will only need a 14 or 15mm(going by eye) socket or ring/open ended spanner combo. You won't even have to take the wheels off, just turn to right lock/right hand side, left lock/left hand side. Job looks like it will take about 10min each side.

does that mean you'd use these when replacing both springs AND shocks? e.g. bilstein/ H&R combo?

My car is lower only 10mm on Weitec springs, and mine makes a noise out of the left side....Some guys have get the noise when they have had it lowered, some don't...If you get the noise, these may help you.

Probably, if 2 of those tools are shifters!

Added to shopping list. Hopefully solves issue, mine has done it since a week into having the coilovers, when cornering at slow speeds only from left side only. Nice find.
