FMIC Question

Hi All,

I know that on a 40 degree day my Gti feels a tad sluggish as opposed to how it feels on a 5 degree winters morning.
With a FMIC installed, can I expect my car now to perform the same (with the additional 5kw through the rev range that the FMIC provides) under both conditions?

It will still be slower in hot conditions - it will just turn a 40 degree day into effectively a 35degree day - or similar.

the car will always perform slightly better on a cold day as the air is denser. also, if the atmosphere is cold, more heat will be removed from the intake via the intercooler (because the rate of heat exchange is dependent on the difference in temperature of the two mediums).

Yes, the cooler the air going into the turbo, the more power you'll have. That's why you'll notice a difference.
