Yeah I will be installing them myself, somewhere lol, I will let you know. I have ordered them, but is is not a product most places keep on the shelf, not for a polo anyway, they told me 3 - 4 weeks

It kind of turned me off at first having all that adjustabillity, but i guess that is part of the fun, playing around with it.
I know there are heaps of well tuned VW's running around with them, so easy to get advice

as added incentive to let me know when you're getting them done, i'll bring my shop jack around to make things easier

v3's and any other independently adjustable bounce/ rebound coilovers fascinate the sheight outta me - you're going to have a lot of fun coming up with the perfect settings over time, especially with the bounce adjustments

i should have my fk highsports soon (within 2 weeks), and once fitted, i will give my opinion. that having been said, i did do a fair amount of research, and given that it is a road car "mainly", it should serve my purposes....no matter what product you buy, there will always be issues with a few,and the more that are made/sold, the more that will have issues....1 % of 1M is more than 1 % of 1K....
nevertheless, lets all agree to disagree....LOL.
it would however be good to meet fellow fk coillies -- possibly a morning out....

But your FKs were the Street Lines (AK) which have no-name dampers. The OP is looking at Silver Lines which have Koni dampers valved to suit the FK spring rates which can be adjusted for rebound and even locally rebuilt.

While I personally wouldn't go near the Street Lines, if I wanted coil overs (ie, if I didn't score my B12 kit for a song), I would get one of the FK series that have Koni built dampers for the adjustable rebound.

Adjustable compression damping would be nice but it's easy to go around in circles with too many adjustments unless you are willing to spend a decent amount of time doing controlled testing to get everything balanced. The best suspension I ever used was a triple adjustable (separate low and high speed compression) White Power unit but I wouldn't gone near it if I didn't have a suspension expert (multiple Aus champion) to help me set it up.

Geezaloo...peeps on here are sensitive hence I've dropped out the word "better" in my initial statement. I apologize to those who I may have offended but as per another post, reason I made the statement was advice from other retailers after I asked them about the FK brand whom of which were quick on their feet to recommend something else. Of course every brand will have their own problems from a bad batch etc etc etc. So from a consumer point of view, wouldn't that worry you? It would certainly worry me since I can't afford to have the car spending too much time off the road due to the amount of travelling I do hence I also needed something that was from a brand that had a decent reputation and was "recommended". Each to their own with product choices based on affordability vs budget vs performance vs reputation vs retailer advice vs whatever else is considered in the equation.
To Scotty, for all intentions and purposes, my comments on the day a while back was not meant to have a "DIG" at your FK's setup from the adjustability stand point. And no I was not trying the be "quick" at the mark to make such comments either. Was just a matter of seeing hows its done and general chit chat since I was thinking of my future coilover or strut upgrade options. Rather it was just pointing out the fact that it's not as simple as other setup where by you can adjust them directly via knobs without having to pull them off (for the rears). Plus it confirmed what the pedders joint in Bendigo had previously advised a while back when I was looking into Koni's for out Fiesta which even they said "yah you'll have to pull them out to adjust them so not as easy as turning the adjustment dial" (before it got written off, hence the Skoda). Once again I apologise if I have offended anyone or if my comments were ill-advised or in-correct on the basis of evidence vs customer satisfaction or bad product rap from third party advice.

Finally there's someone else here who's willing to share what they've been told by retailers who either sell, have sold or have experience working on them due to problems exactly like I have been told both locally and from overseas (hence influencing my decision to go KW's) so i don't look like a nut bag of fibs or someone who's seen as an Anti-FK activist (which I'm not).

I did have the street lines, but Im not the only one with oil spitting issues. I just met an owner with an s3 who had the Silver Lines and he too had problems with oil spitting

Initially we did try to get fk the repair my coilovers but the service I received from fk was shiiiiit, the supplier recommended that I upgrade to the weitecs which are same as kw v1 except they aint stainless steel, and it came with 2 year warranty with repairs done in Australia.

In my opinion I don't think you can compare KW to Fk's, FK's are good value for what they are but they are an entry brand.
