Massive waste of time and money. If in the first 15,000km you find it is using more oil, whats wrong with topping it up yourself instead of going to the stealer to do it???

I got my oil changed at what ended up being around 8600kms. Just to be sure.
Topping up your oil will not viod your warranty...Unless you add athe wrong oil to it(75/w90 Gear Oil for example or after market thickener, but lets be realistic, nobody is that dumb...)
If you really look after your car, and we all do on this forum, you know to read your service book and see what oil you would need to add...In our case, 0/W40 Fully Synth.

First service is 7500km, and it is not free... They said it is an inspection service, if i go back to where i bought it from, it is 80 bucks, if not, i think it is about 200 bucks.

06 Jetta 2.0TFSI Killed by a Lexus!
09 Eos 2.0TSI DSG Loved this car but has now gone to a new home!!
14 EOS 2.0 TSI has arrived!
I can't believe this... I think you should give VW Aus a call and clarify this.
15000kms service nothing more than a oil change and check up, i don't even think they change ur oil filter cos they rated up for 30000kms. So 80 bucks for SLX Pro and normal service price about ~350 bit steep huh? 270 goes straight 2 their pocket...

Im in out in the australian bush.. a little town called perth
Im in metro perth.. and those guys never called me back...
So VW charge a premium, and for all they know i was booking a service... yet they still didnt call me back! bastards!
Im a bit scared about the noise now...
I can hear the Motor whirring when i turn the wheel.. but the scraping noise is annoying and it wasnt there before...
What does void your warrenty?
Im a bit iffy about warranties because... i dont like reading lots of documents hehe
My first real car was a magna, and within the first few months a fly wheel fell off... no damage but scary non the less.. 5 years of smooth sailing after that... hope that its only something minor.
Don't let them say they will call you back. Just hound them, and keep calling them till they listen. I had a similar customer service issue with the VW dealer up here, and had a gut full of it. If you have a problem with your car and it is under warranty, the have an obligation to fix it. Keep calling them, write down the name of who you spoke to, and refer it to VW Australia if you have any dramas. Record of conversation is your friend.![]()
