its quite funny (actually more interesting than funny) to find out how everyone is on here before they even get their cars. And something about this forum is especially comforting. I'm waiting for my little monster to arrive in a few weeks and can't wait.

Wow, mine really must have been "meant-to-be"!

Back in February I was desperate to get out of the hunk of rubbish I'd foolishly bought last year. I was just puddling on Carsales one Friday night and found a red GTI in stock locally, while the no on-roads deal was going.

Basically, I did a deal on the phone the next day, and I had her a few days later.

Respect to those who have had to wait ages - it's worth it. :)
