A few questions!

G'day all.

I just took possession of my Polo Match (1.6l with the 6 speed tiptronic g'box) and I love it! For working and travelling in the city, in traffic, etc, it's great and after taking it for a spin last night around some twisties it's proved to be a fun little car!

Anyway, so it's no GTI, but it would be great if I could get a hand on the following issues...

- Hub Caps NEED TO GO! A few optional vw rims caught my eye - but will polo gti rims fit my car? AFAIK, it's 5 stud... unsure of offset. Are wheels for the polo common?
- Could anyone reccomend good suspension? Looked at eibach but they dont seem to sell springs to suit the auto due to front axle weight (wtf!). Next best option... coilovers. Maybe overkill though... Just want tight handling. I've had eibachs on another car and they were the bees knees!

Any other little things I can blow my money on?

Welcome to the forum good to have more polos here. I would say that the GTI Polo rims would fit vw only make 5X100 and 5X112i think and i dout it would be 5X112.
Suspension i am un sure sorry.
Another point may be upgrading to the standerd GTI front brakes but this depends on the hubs.

Cheers mate. Maybe the GTI brake upgrade would be something I would consider down the track. For the moment, the brakes are pretty damn good. They are progressive and stop well! I don't what they would be like after a natio run... thats something I'me definately willing to try out! D I don't think the tyres on it at the moment will be up for it much...

If anyone's offloading their stock gti rims, make sure you send me a pm.

I saw you join last night and noticed your username and was thinking does he have a Mk4 Golf facelifted ??????, forgot all about Polos altogether but it makes sense now.
