    fabia RS suspension

Has anyone looked at the crossover potential of skoda fabia RS suspension onto our cars? From what I can gather the current fabia is built on the old polo (9N3) chassis, so curious if things like RS springs could be swapped over .

I would have thought the new fabia rs would be based on the 6r gti, don't they use the same motor?

yeah same motor. I came pretty close to buying one though and was pretty sure it wasn't based on the 6R polo chassis. The RS is based on the the old polo chassis. That shape has been around since 07' I think.

Correct... chassis based on prev polo with enough tweaks for new drivetrains

ok. ill try and find out from the skoda guys what their ride heights are. Just thinking the fabia probably has a bit more weight over the rear axle (has a far bigger boot overhang) so may run higher rate springs that might be lower than ours too. worth checking out atleast anyway!
