    Exhaust Rasp

Wondering if anyone else thinks the Polo could do with a better sounding exhaust and if there's an easy way to do it. I've mostly had italian cars before and like the sound they make (when they are going well, not when the exhaust is broken like so often happened).

I was squeezing through the city traffic the other day when an R32 joined in - they sound sooo much better than the Pogo!

Most turbocharged cars do sound a bit more bland than a nice high revving N/A motor.

Alfa have always had beautiful sounding motors. VW R32 sound incredible too.

But in my honest opinion, i think the polo has a nice little growl to it already.
It only has one muffler as it is, but if you want a little more noise get your dump pipe replaced like i did yesterday 3inch. Get the cat entry and exit enlarged aswell.

It will probably help you get the R32 in your rear view mirror, so you dont have to hear how much better it sounds than your car does

I'm with you kevvie, think it sounds a little dull. My last car was a mazda astina with just a sports muffler which gave it a nice note.

I've thought about maybe chasing up a different muffler, but have been too lazy to actually do any research on the subject.

    Jun B stylez,

Would look pretty average on a euro i think.
Plus, cops will love you forever pretty sure mufflers with variable sound levels are illegal.

Maybe consider a Remus exhaust? they look the ducks nuts and are a little louder than standard. But cost eleventy billion dollars
