Considering that the car take only just over 4L of oil, 500ml is 25% more fluid in the Crank Case that should be there...Yes, it would make a difference.

Sorry...I knew it didn't look right when I wrote it this morning...Maths wasn't a high point for me at school...In fact, the only thing I was good at at school was walking out the gate... Yes, I am an idiot!!
