I've had both and IMO cloth is the way to go. I reckon the cloth seats are more fitted. As GT3 said leather sucks for high speed cornering. If you're a more sedate driver then the leather is nice.
I wanted a sunroof until I drove the demo and found it too small + my head was almost sticking out of it. lol
Have both, and don't regret either at all. The leather is great in colder and wetter weather like the past few days in Sydney, the heated seats are so nice that I don't want to get out of the car! The sunroof is also great, no rattles or leaks. I use the tilt function much more than the slide, and it gives the interior of the car a bit more air flow without having to open windows. Plus even with it closed, no a winters day, it makes the interior a bit more well lit, and for a small car, I think that gives the impression of a more spacious interior.

Yes....keeping the OT discussion....leather seats are slippery and, to be frank, a bastard on the track. But as I experience more cold Canberra mornings and evenings, I'm quite sold on heated leather
Does the sunroof reduce headroom? If so, how much?
Maris
hey under normal circumstances you wont even know that its there - it doesnt reduce any headroom whatsoever
ive got the sunroof and the leather too - ive also added a whopping great big subwoofer box - and alls the additional weight doesnt do really much in terms of making the car a lot slower and i havent even done the ecu remap yet - will probably do that when the warranty is over - but for now the car is nippy enough even with all these accessories that add the weight
in terms of the sunroof in South African weather its a great addition - not a single rattle or buzz - but my car is only around a few days over one years old
only problem is if you open it without any other window open it does cause some resonance - but that happens with the back windows too (on my 4 door) - if you open only the back window you get this odd resonance until you open a fron window to balance it out - or you could open the sunroof - that also cancels out the resonance from the back window

The resonance only happens if you open it past the first stop though which opens about 3/4ths of the way - never been in a car with resonance so severe it actually hurts your head.
A sunroof is great if you have to park i the sun, you can just open a crack on the tilt setting to vent out the heat and with the air con on full blast at floor level blasting out the heat is quick and easy. But of course, you could do the same with the windows open anyway but it's a less elegant solution
Had 2 convertibles before so leaks/wind noise is never going to be an issue for me - and there are certain spring/autumn nights where everything just feels right (temperature, wind, ambient scent) to have the top down or at least the roof open
