    eibach springs

    hi,
just wondering if anybody at fitted the eibach springs to their polo 9n gti. it seemed as though it did not drop the car, or marginally dropped the car.....any comments or views -- i did expect some more drop.
    thanks

Unfortunately they are the shortest of drops going mate. Only 30mm from memory.

I personally have the Eibach springs for my setup. I believe it's 20mm which is the reason why you think it hasn't done anything for you.

IMO, it's a compromise between lowering the car, but keeping a stock appearance.

    If you go H&R 35mm, you'll need a 40 profile - Hope this helps.

$150 mate, done about 35000k's. They have served me really well with the Koni's! Good combo.

h&r's will give a nice drop. Not the same as coilovers, but pretty good.
