For Eibachs not a bad price! But H&Rs' are about $200 cheaper and give a better looking ride height being about 10 - 15mm lower. Please hit the link in my signature to see the ride height of the H&R's.
My mate said he can get me a set of Eibach low down spring for under 500, is this a good deal? Installation not included.

Is there a QLD distributor for the H&R gear?
I've had the H&R's for about 8000 kms.
They definitely make the car sit much nicer, less wheel arch.
Handling is improved (less roll, etc) but with the stock shocks you get a bouncy effect and the ride can be a bit harsh.
its good for the money, but if you are after good handling and can afford the more expensive options ($800-$3000 plus fitting) you will get Much better results.
Springs are the cheap part, its the shocks that cost in the equation.
I'm getting AP Coilovers which is supposedly made in the same factory as Wietch and KW. I've had bad luck with 1 shock being damaged in transit, but in a fortnight should have a review for you. They've cost me $850 inc post from UK, FYI.
i asked a place today.$2000 for H&R springs, shocks ,bushs,swaybars(back/front/bottom/top) and install. not sure if thats any good was the first place i asked $1750 for same package but diff springs.
what u guys think ?
thats alot...
I know i got my Eibach springs from america for ~350-400 shipped, and that was when the $ was 80c. now being in the 90's the value is much better.
and you will want a set of shocks to go with your new spings, a very common setup is eibach springs and koni FSD's, for about 700US, or ~2k if getting them locally. depeindg on what you want, a set of coils from the US are mighty attractive right now.
install should be ~250-400 depending.
To give you some kind of idea on cost - Eibach Springs + Bilstein B8 + Top Mounts + Install cost me around $1500. I purchase springs from Eibach Direct for $320 and Shocks for a bit under $800 landed in 2 weeks from the US
I was quoted around $1500 locally for springs + shocks with a 6 week lead time.
I'm extremely happy with the setup, stiff enough to have some serious fun in the twisties, but not so stiff you skip around when you hit a bump. Achieved about 15 to 20mm drop. H&R Springs I think are rated at up to 40mm drop, whereas the Pro-Kit is rated at up to 30mm drop. I think Eibach do a kit that will go lower as well, but IMHO if your main goal is lowering and you dont care so much for comfort then go some cheap coilovers.
Where did you get the Shocks from US? Which shop? would you care to share? i am interested in blistein B8.
