    eek - brake pad light -$$$$ ?

Just drove like a maniac to work, and finally the brake pad light illuminated itself.

Any idea what I can expect to pay for new pads?

Mine came on a long time ago. Looking at the pads i figured i had a while... that was 8000k ago, and they still look alright. So you got time.

As for price, i think upgraded ones are 150-280 a set looking through forums, not sure about standard. Labour should be pretty cheap i think, 50-100 i'd guess.

I put EBC Greenstuff pads in mine for just over $160. When you upgrade your pads ... it's a wise move to upgrade your brake fluid as well ... Martini is what I've gone with.

    Cheers,

I think the best bet there is to shoot JMac a PM. I will be up and running on it by the end of the month too. Still waiting on Jimmy to get a final price for me for what I need done.

Never like the Ferodos coming as standard. Would much prefer bites from EBC or Mintex. For mild mods should be fine. Unless you've done a lot, AP BBK sounds tempting (if can be fitted)

was trying to take the easier way out fine google it is...

Probably a stupid question but would it be alright to get my stealers service centre to fit them and change to martini when they change my oil at 7500km? have to go in as my drives side mirror was all scuffed so they will replace it then.
