ECS Tuning - Parts For our polo GTI

I believe we need to order parts for the Golf IV 1.8T

I just want to confirm that the oil filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, timing belt kit with water pump are all interchangeable/compatible with Golf IV and Polo GTI.

Can anyone please confirm, also do we need the standard oil filter or Large?

Timing Belt Kit with Waterpump - http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-...ES2286/ES2286/

Radiator Additive, would you use it or stick to G12,G12+, G12++

I am assuming the Brake Fluid is just standard dot 4.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Correct me if I am wrong guys, but checking up on the Mann site, it states the Golf MkIV and Polo GTI use the same Oil Filter. Will be Checking the other parts as well, any feedback welcome..

I know for a fact that MK4 GTI front rotors and oil filers fit (I have them on my car), but not brake pads. I also got my DOT 4 fluid off them.
I would check with JMAC about the timing belt kit and water pump though...

    ECS bits and pieces

    Hey Blitzen

Did you get your brake lines from ECS? Do the Mk4 GTI ones fit to the polo?

Nah man, I just have the standard brake lines on my car.

When I did the brakes, I got the Brembo slotted rotors (marketed as ECS Slotted Rotors on the site), EBC Greenstuff pads (bought separately at a local dealer), and hight performance ATE Racing Super Blue brake fluid...I'm Very happy with the differance.

Mate expect a pm soon, didnt forget you did give me a week
I can get parts for a very competitive price and i also do Martini fluid fyi. Wouldnt fit any other oil filter other than original to save a couple of bucks wouldnt bother which i also supply. Platinum plugs are the ones for the BJX and are rudely dear no matter what way you look at it but will be in the engine for 60k. Timing belt other than the conti will give you heart flutter after fitting, i say this for the techs, other belts i have fitted are a fair bit noisy till bedded in and thats with it adjusted to spec, which i take great care of. the Conti sounds great from go to wo just fyi, conti has always had that reputation.
Just to note my father is in theVW/Audi trade parts in the Uk and i will be bringing OEm filters in this year, more savings on the way

    Thanks Jmac...

Will await your reply, but might be good to put some info with part numbers on here for others to gain some knowledge.

Trying to help all Polo owners just not myself, always good to save a few $$$, my mechanic is more then happy to do the work with my parts supplied.
