    Dyno done today

    Hi guys,

Dyno done today at Auckland torque performance.
    127.4kw at wheels / 690nm torque (i don't know what this means)

It was 20 degrees in the building, and got the number on 2nd run.

Modifications REVO and Seat intake. Engine wise.

    Quite happy with it...

I know Torque figures are all different from dyno to dyno... MTM A4 Quattro 1.8t got 106kw at wheels.

Golf GTI with oetingger got 110kw at wheels. (MK4).

There was MK3 Golf with 2.9 VR6 engine and supercharger or turbo doing 155kw at wheels...

I think with lower temperature and better BP 98 Ultimate (mine was Mobil 98 which I don't think is as good as BP ones)... and with first run probably maybe able to make 130kw on this dyno.

    Peak torque is at 3500rpm
    Peak Boost is 22.1psi
AFR - reasonable, but could be improved slightly.

I don't have a scanner so haven't scanned it yet...
    06 Polo GTI - REVO Stage 2 = 140kw @ wheels.
06 Golf GTI - Bluefin Stage 1 blacked out with ED30 theme, leather, xenon, etc.

Read through the past dyno figures from different cars.

Mine did around 40km run from home, with average speed of 120km/h.
And was sitting in the burning sun for 1 hour prior to getting the run...
And air temp of 20 degrees in the building.

I am happy with my reading then!!

yes wouldnt it be reading the torque at the wheels after it has been through the Gearbox (torque multiplier)??

edit - btw nice figures insane

Thanks! That's the number I don't understand... Mine is close to 680-690nm on the reading the graph... i will try to scan it at somepoint... just don't understand it.

Mine is slightly lean which is the worrying part. Very very slightly is what the dyno guy told me. I better get it scanned and put it up.

Even if it was in third.

Torque wouldnt be high from memory?

    Seems rather odd.

3rd gear I think. I will recheck the sheets. Maybe 2 wheels, so divide it by 2? :-> Hahaha....

I dunno... All other cars produced high numbers, but I just didn't know how to convert this... to well more reasonable number.

Kai i would have thought it would be higher as dont you divide the torque by the Gear ratio multiplied by the diff ratio???

    3rd gear 1.36
    Diff 3.65
