now going to get another car for at least 2 year later...

Also, i dont like those japanese sports car any more after going into euro...

i know they are cheaper, but it is just different class...

    Hahahaha...

    Just dreaming....

not even finished paying off my car loan...

Not matter how good i m in launching and shifting, u cant beat the dsg shifting time...

u will save at least 1s for a quater mile run with dsg...

I think with the apr stage 3 kit, d gti should be able to run high 12s isnt it?

so do most people turn esp off for this ?? or does the esp train you not to spin the wheels and loose power thus getting take offs just right.

Only, 1 answer to that .... chip it ..... No TDI will even get close then ....

can say for curtain but jaymz chipped gt tdi did 125kw@w and chipped polos are around 120-125kw@w with the difference in weight it would be interesting also the torque out of the TDI could make it even more interesting. But as im a polo owner i have to say the POLO WILL WIN. Have to convince jaymz to come to the strip

Its all in how it makes the power. Chipped GT has a very narrow power band with a steep peak for max power; it does have a very broad torque curve which makes for killer overtaking, but ultimately the narrow power band kills any real quick runs on a strip.

I have a very wide power band these days with more than 125kw atw from 5100 to 6500rmin and have no problems easily dispatching a TDI.

I finaly get some wheel spin from start and 1st to 2nd...

With esp off and nailing the launch, you can stay side by side with the v35... but the lower engine mount is not too happy with good take off... too much effort lol
my first track time with the stock polo was 15.4 with 34 psi front conti's and 3/4 fuel... with esp on: 15.8
