    I'd had enough by the end of yesterday, someone else can have a go now with a fresh set of eyes.

    The exhaust flange has never faulted before, but at this point in time nothing would surprise me.

    The turbo bolts you can feel from above, I've not had any issues with them since I last replaced and used a metal repair material to keep them in.

    Car has to be cold, so much heat from the turbo even if its just been idling.

    If it is loose turbo bolts it would sound like a tractor, so I would say that idea is out.

    Fixed - was the join from the hard line to the silicon hose up to the throttle body. Seems mostly OK now, but certainly not the car I had two weeks ago.

    Boost used to peak 19psi, settle around 17 or so - Now it'll peak at 15 and hold maybe 14?

    Man, I need to get educated about these things. Considering the N249 and SAI delete.


    Now that we've got a sensible for the girlfriends daily , I'm getting serious about planning a turbo upgrade/exhaust/gearbox/diff/cage and entering some big stuff.

    Always had it. This is the car which has remained mostly standard for the longest time. Always had hot cars

    Living in a pertol-headed, circuit-racing family is no help when you're desperately trying to save for a house. Then I go to work at ARB and watch people throw $18k+ at their cars. Gives me the itch!!
