    Digital Gauge Options

I'm interested in a Boost, Heat, etc readings in the vehicle.

Don't want to go down the path of a manual (pressurized) gauge.

Have heard the Scangauge won't give boost info, so wondering if anyone knows of a product that is suitable.

oh yeah, I want it to look awesome and cost $10

    Yeah that one!

I'm after some options, has anyone been able to get boost readings out of OBDII port in this fashion?

    What about:

    Coarse or fine grind adjustment
    Automatic frothing
    Underboost warning
    Automatic squirting during peak
    Low blinker fluid warning light
    Adjustable vibration settings

This has none of the above but does look rather slick and non ricey if you get the red one:

Have you looked at a Scangauge II ? I'm sure I've read a few reports on how people like them, but not sure if they include boost or not - I guess it would depend on whether it is a std OBD II parameter or not.

    I have, thanks.

There is another parameter that you need which is not standard to the Scangauge II, but with the extra feature you can try and generate this information...

Main problem with that unit is the $200 ish dollar price tag.

Tweaking and low budgets dont mix...

Need something to tide me over until my next bits arrive (air filter, Seat intake, dual port valve).

    This one looks pretty cool:

May not give boost with the MAF MAV sensor issue....

Not the price i wanted to pay either, but cool to see some options out there.

I think it may possible to get boost readings on the Scangauge II with XGauge.

It dosent read the boost pressure from a a sensor it appears that it calculates it based on other parameters.

The guys on the Mini forum have figured out how to do it to suit their car. Maybe then its possible for the Polo?

    Check out the link:

^ I'll give it a try in the morning on my Scangauge. Pretty certain it doesn't work for us though.

    Taken from SeatCupra.net

Does not work on Petrol cars as they do not utilise the MAP sensor PID
