    Hoyhoy.

It was Guys little track car, but that diff ended up in the Little Blue Girl for a while.
Then luckily enough I got Guy to order the SQS clutch diff because SQS didn't know that there were two different ring gears, otherwise I would of had the wrong one.
It cost me extra for them to make it.
    Hooroo.

Yep cant disagree, ive pretty much talked myself into that with the fact that the 02r from the day it was released the diff number is the same meaning they can fit any ring gear, whatever batch they have at the time which sux for us. Each car gets a BOM ( bill of materials) when built and you could have a diff from any plant really.

Means you can't easily work out which one to get without opening it all up to measure. Ridiculous, but what can we do...

    Bit of a thread revival.

Is there any consensus on the best place to buy a Wavetrac?
Also wondering if there's any differences other than the inner diameter between the 113 and 114mm ring gear?
Why I ask is I was thinking if you got the 114mm TBD and then worst case if you have a 113mm ring gear just take it over to a machine shop, half an hour later you've got a 114mm ring gear. Might be easier than faffing about ordering 2 diffs, returning one, etc.

It is seriously NOT a place you want to be elongating holes or getting extra ones drilled.

Chris Preen was looking for people interested in a group buy but it was a while back.

There doesn't seem to much interest for a group buy for the wavetrac or maybe it's just too hard. My suggestion is to find a local supplier thats stocks both sizes. For Sydney people Seb at Euro Automotive.
