lmao....but yea it is a cool function
Did you know that when you set the cruise control "ON", then you flick the switch to the middle (between "on" & off") it cancels the cruise control.
I only found this out after having given the new Golf TDi (where on the cruise control stalk, in the middle it says "cancel")
anyway just a tip for you people....![]()

afaik this is a feature in all vw cruise control systems...
when you turn it to the "off" position it cancels the memory of the preset speed.
when you flick the switch toward the off position to cancel the cruise control it will still remember the last preset speed, so when you hit resume it picks up to the speed it was last set at.

Personally i use the brake pedal. My foot knows where that is without looking (luckily)!
I don't remember reading that in the manual, but tested it today & it checked out.

Also didn't remember reading that by flicking the rocker switch up or down increases or decreases the set cruise speed by 5km/h. Handy thing cruise control (yes this is my first car with c.c).
