    New Springs.

Just a silly question i have no idea but by me installing the H&R 30-35mm springs does it stiffen up the car... i know coll overs will do the trick but i dun have the cash.

just thinking them and the RSB and FSB might give it the right stiffness for my buck.

any feed back would be nice.

I have H&Rs (plenty of us do) with RSB.

Car sits lower and the springs have less travel, making for a 'tighter' ride.

There are 2 issues with this:

1: Can make the front sway bar (there is one in the stock design) make some knocking noises, fixed with droplinks.

2: Springs and Shocks being mismatched (ie stock shocks with H&R springs) won't be as good as coilovers or both parts being replaced. The result is not catastrophic and personally is better than stock, but don't expect hot lap times and speeds of 70 and over can be bouncy on some roads.

Cant comment on the FSB, I'm thinking about getting one.

If you are not planning on spending big money, the RSB is a great place to start.

If you want it to look lower (I know I did), the H&R's give you some drop, better handling, etc on a budget.

If you think you might have the money later, get the RSB, wait and get good coils.

    My 2c.

i wouldnt think it'll be a hard job, theres a diy guide on the diy section.

if you've done it on any other car, it wouldnt be much different.

Errr highly disadvise on making your OWN spring compressors unless your some tool maker by trade or something, if you compress and the tool gives way and goes Boing!! you can get seriously injured...
