I had my first foray into drag racing tonight, and had an absolute ball...But, I really do need to get out there and practice more...
I got 6 runs out for the night...
Run 1: 16.37@86.04MPH...2.67 60FT
Run 2: 16.32@86.04MPH...2.66 60FT (Forgot about ESP)
Run 3: 16.01@83.80MPH...2.27 60FT
Run 4: 16.19@86.71MPH...2.70 60FT (Forgot about ESP)
Run 5: 15.71@87.21MPH...2.25 60FT
Run 6: 15.68@87.21MPH...2.31 60FT

whats that massive salary sacrifice slush fund for anyway?
2x Caddy, 1x Ducato
After reading Shaneth's and JSN78's non chipped times in another thread, it has me wondering what I need to do to get down the strip faster!! My last run did FEEL like the fastest run of the night, but a 14 sec run would be awesome...Truth be told though, I was very happy when I dropped into the 15's.
I had alot of people asking about the Polo, and considering there are only 4 in Darwin(mine, a Red, a White, and a Blue one...How patriotic!!), not many people have seen them. The tower commentator was even surprised to see it, and I got a fair few positive comments from the other competitors...But I always seemed to come up against vastly superior powered cars(a Twin Turbo V6 VR4 Galant, a Evo 2, a series 6 RX7, a supercharged VY SS ute, and a R34 GTR(there was another car I cant remember)...

You weren't up against more superior competion, rather greater modded competition! Time for a turbo upgrade then aye??
