yeah the cup is a nice looking car but i think it should have got a little more punch from the factory.....just a touch. for the extra money it should have been up to the figures of our ecu remaps.

i think they are 132kW/178hp standard, from this of course they adopted the 180PS claim.

i wonder.....would chipping one of them make it mental?? wheelspin galore

I believe chipping a Cup edn brings no benefits over chipping a std GTI. Both make the same power chipped.

There is no mechanical difference between them. The Cup is chipped better from the factory.....

Same as the previous TT. 110kw - 132kw - 169kw all the same engine. 169kw did need twin intercoolers though.

The remaps make it have more power than a stock Golf GTI, this would not be a good thing to do as a company considering they'd rather sell a 3dr Golf GTI for 15k more to give that much extra power.

I'd prefer they release the bodykit and wheels as a $5k option or something. That's the only real difference.

I think I must be the only one who prefers the look of the 'standard' GTI.

The wheels yes, but i'd pass on the rest...

I find it alarming that there's still so much engine flex in the sport sport model.
