Cruise control stopped working

My cruise control won't work.
the stalk seems to work fine because the green cruise control light comes on but pressing the "set" button just won't do anything.

You need someone with VCDS to look at that. Could be the stalk or a couple of other things. Be very easy to prove what it is with the cable.

There you go then...try disconnecting the clutch switch and bridge the 2 wires and retest. Usually doesnt log a fault at all on vcds as the system just sees the clutch switch depressed instead of seeing it open circuit. Clutch down = cruise off.....switch open circuit = cruise off
