    comparing suspension setups properly

Found a good outline for a suspension tuning tool.
It could be used for instance to compare how your suspension is working between street guise (interior, spare tyre and full tank) versus track guise (80kg less in the rear with that stuff removed). eg. You might actually have to take some rear bar off the car for the track because you've pulled so much weight out of only one end of the car and effectively stiffened it without even touching the suspension. Or like the article said you can compare between your car and a mates different one eg say an IRS rear end Honda and actually be able to compare apples with apples.

Here is a run down of the app:

AutoSpeed - Measuring wheel suspension rates

Here is a run down in a 3 part series where its used to work out whats going on with a honda they were modifying:

Julian does great articles, typically quite easy to follow and the tests he conducts are quite cheap to try yourself. He used to be a member on vwwatercooled going back a few years.

Gone but not forgotten: 08 Polo GTI

yeah I've followed his stuff since Zoom and '21st centuary performance' came out. He's always taken the bang for buck, not unless it needs doing path and backs up what he says with testing. Yeah I noticed he got onto the Skoda Roomster diesel thing a while back.
