    Code reader connection

I've been given a v-checker (model v201) and it says on the blurb 'for all VAG vehicles and canbus compliant'. However, the 16 pin plug on the unit is fractionally too small to go over the DLC socket under the Polo dash. So it won't connect.

Anybody suggest what might be wrong? I assumed all modern VAG sockets would be the same, but maybe not.

    Cheers

Jam it on mate, it'll go on, just a tolerance thing. When I come across a tough one, I find starting on one corner helps.

Be careful not to bust the bracket holding the socket though.
