Camden GTI in Campbelltown would do that job.
Less than a 4 hour job, good opportunity to upgrade to a soled flywheel and VR6 clutch for less money than a new DMF and clutch kit.

A friend is considering buying an 06 Polo GTI that's in need of a clutch repair. Can anyone recommend a decent garage in Sydney and a rough cost for this to be done?
My S3 had a clutch swap last year for ~$1400 at Euro Automotive in Girraween (previous owner). Are they good?

Excuse my ignorance but what's DMF? Will Camden offer the VR6 setup?
Dual mass flywheel. Practically impossible to do a clutch swap and not need to replace the flywheel. If it's slipping already, it'll be too late.
Solid flywheels are supposed to be a bit noisier at tickover but I have had one and never noticed any noise.
CGTI will be able to do the conversion.

Offtopic but does the 02 S3 have the same setup?
They do have a DMF yes. There aren't so many options for going solid on them. The S3 I have had one fitted sometime in the past, it was swapped out for a standard setup but I am not sure why. Due to the much smaller market with the 4wd, the solid flywheel and clutch cost a fair deal more than a 2wd.

We ended up getting this done at Euro Automotive and Seb (top bloke) done an awesome job.
'02 S3 & '09 R36 Wagon
What kind of price did it end up costing?
