Clunks on accelerating out of corners

Hi all, as the title says my GTI clunks /rattles as I accelerate out of a corner (eg having turned into a street or out of a roundabout) it seems to do it after the wheels have been turned past a certain angle and i can feel it through the steering. Not sure if this is normal on the Pog?

I'm thinking it might be CV joint related, haven't had much experience with FWD cars but the last time I had something similar would've been an old Camry with 150kkm on the clock and then only with the wheel turned at extreme angles...

I should try doing a few full circles in either direction when I get time to tonight to see if its repeatable...

Is it brand new? If so how many weeks?

Take it back to the dealer, they may have not removed the spacers put into place for shipment. Sounds bad but it's happened before.

Have you got a Forge Strut brace?

Sometimes this can knock on the inside of the bonnet.

    My car does the same.

Last time they replaced the cv's and it was fixed.

I have to get it changed again soon.
