Chip makes an absolutely unbelieveable difference.
The difference between a hatch with a little bit of power and a car that is seriously quick.
IMO Revo/GIAC/APR are the only real options - I went with Giac on my 1.8t and couldn't be happier (Speak to Seb from european automotive - 'Bug_racer' on here)
bug racer cannot receive any pm's from members here.refer to admin/mods for further info.
are "european automotive" in sydney? did a quick search but came up with some pretty random sites...
cheers,
jasn78 - thanks =) and yeah i've done some searching online and in these forums... i suppose it's not a quick'n'easy question to answer... as i said i'm a n00b, i just know i want one and quickly (pardon the pun...hehh...ermmm)

Hi Rebecca this thread if approached carefully can be done right so lads give it a fair go.
Rebecca you can find Seb at UNIT A6 16A AMAX ST, GIRRAWEEN NSW 0410 541 322
or go to www.euroauto.com.au He is the GIAC seller in Sydney.
I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...
Hey Welcome. Good luck what ever path you choose and i can say you will be grinning from ear to ear no matter what u go for.
Cheers Rob.
No probs bec just as you would have noticed way too much rubbish occurs on this topic I have an oettinger chip in my polo with 3 inch cat back exhaust and seat air intake and lov it only test drove the stock car for 10 mins picked up with chip installed from dealer so i would say before any other mod this is the 1st to do
Also, APR offer the 6 hr free trial if you want to see for yourself what it is like. I just spent Saturday morning gone doing Macquarie Pass and Jamberoo Mtn Rd with the trial. So awesome!! The improved acceleration is pretty intense!
I can't afford to do it to mine yet. It was heaps fun while it lasted...
