Has anyone changed their injectors ?

No special tools but watch the fuel in the rail it'll be under pressure. Unless the car has been stood a long while. No need for injectors unless the turbo has been changed already and appropriate software loaded or it'll just over fuel big time and the ECU won't cope well.

Thanks Gavin. I have got all parts for my upgrade, except the turbo itself. For various reasons (mainly cost), I would prefer to install things one at a time...I know that the turbo will be the big expense, so saving that for last.
If I installed the new injectors etc... and got a stage II remap from you, would it be OK?
Can your software take all my mods into account ?
Then when I get the new turbo, we can do the stage III remap ?
    Thanks

I want to , as long as Gavins code can manage it.

I've got a 4 bar FPR and pump sitting here ready to go in when I choose which turbo I want. There's really no point fitting them now. (I mention that as it's similar to fitting bigger injectors)

Each to their own, but I wouldn't bother changing the injectors right now if you're planning on upgrading the turbo soon.
It will take hardly any time to switch them out when you do the turbo and you can get it tuned all at the same time.
I wouldn't think it's worth it, effort v gain v cost.. plus it's going to run like a dog.

You don't need the injectors or MAF for a Phase 2. There's nothing to be gained in performance terms from having big injectors or MAF before the turbo is changed.

Custom-Code would not write a file for those parts without the turbo. It would be time consuming to do it, for no benefit.

As Sam says, they can be fitted in minutes.

Your car will probably run worse.

The tune you have is designed to run the standard injectors which will have a certain spray pattern etc.

What turbo are you going to run, or is it a secret lol ?

I did say to to Clint that he should talk to you, Troy, about upgrading turbos while I grabbed his battery
