That is far too many Commodores before you got a decent car.

Hrmmm. God, some memories here I tell ya!

    1982 Corolla (mums)
1971 Mini K (never did finish the rebuild)
1961 Mini 850 panel van (so much fun with a hot 998 and disc brakes)
1972 Ford Capri XL (one owner, 80,000km. All GT options)
1992 Honda Accord (nice, handled well, but somewhat boring)
1978 1275LS Mini (rediculously quick car, still miss it, some moron in Melb has trashed it)
1974 Mini S (banger work bus)
    1976 Mini Clubman (****box)
1995 Falcon XR6 Wagon (tow car for the dirt bikes)
    2007 Polo Gti (WHEEEEEE)

There's been a few, and there will have to be more minis in the time to come with any luck

The M-Coupe was like a go-kart to drive. FUN .... It is also the only car I have ever written off .... No ESP .... a wet road .... highish speed and swerving to miss wayward pedestrian put it into a tree sideways at about 100km/h impact speed ..... not a pretty sight afterwards.

The 1995 M3 was awesome, modded and at a top speed run day I did 272km/h in it. (my mechanic did 278km/h !!!! ) with a longer run could have done even more !

I do miss many of my old cars for various reasons .... The BMW's (excl the 318i) the VR6, the turbos .... sigh

Love the Polo for what it is though .... if only I could fit AWD to it ....
