So it made 153kw at 4500rmin with no idea as to what it would make if allowed to run out to 6500rmin. It was a clear indication of (a lot) more tuning needed .... .... Good torque though.

Lito can post the graphs up if he wishes. Extra graphs showing the AFR was done for him.

Also now the reason I will not go Frankenturbo ....
I wouldn't say it was the Frankenturbo, I'm sure it will be tweaks on the tune and there probably be a lot of revisions

You wouldn't buy it because you cant buy a off the shelf tune, I dont think there are any off the shelf tunes for a bigger turbo on a polo.
You could say the reason for not getting a GT28 is there is no tune also.
Thats just a excuse to keep the stock turbo lol

Not true .... APR Stg 3 and 3+ Garret big turbo kits (250+kw) are available. Not common in Australia, thus not widely advertised. Sort of a special order item .... just like the K04 these days ....

It is in my Polo's future ..... need to do the stronger internals first ..... and thats due in Jan/Feb next year along with clutch and timing belt .... .... big turbo a bit later next year ....

I find the difference between the boost curves of the Custom Code tunes v APR tunes, interesting...
Contemplating a trial with Custom Code once I get some more bits and pieces sorted...

So you just need a front mount, any front mount and you're there

Yeah, it'll be a bit easier if we can get the Dynapack generated files as opposed to phone photos of printouts..

Great stuff guys. So much interesting stuff to read. I will take this moment to say thanks to a lot of you as with all the information and discussion to come in the following weeks will have potentially saved a few of us other members, who haven't committed to parts, possibly thousands of dollars.
