brake light switch - common problem!

Hey everyone,

just thought i would post up that if you have had your EPC light coming on at intervals and you have no brake lights....no need to worry. the brake light switch for VW's and AUDI's is apparently a crappy made standard part and blows very easily. VAG have made up a modified replacement part and can be fitted within minutes at your local dealer under warranty.

got mine done today, anyone else had this problem?

Been common since the last of the 6N polos mate. All audi And Vw have the same issue, common with no cruise, fuel cut off (main reason for EPC light) and of course lights, Autos may even impede the Starter inhibitor switch thus inability to move vehicle from park.
