    Braided Brake Lines

    Hi all,

I'm in the search for some braided brake lines for the GTI.
Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get a Polo specific kit? Or am I better off getting them custom made somewhere?

    Cheers,
    Bruno

I have mine in stainless braided lines. Goodridge from UK. I can't remember where I bought them from... VAGonline or something when they were open. Unfortunately they have closed. I felt more positive feedback and good bites with this upgrade. There is a polo specific kit.

When i upgraded my brakes on the forester, i took my existing lines into Hawkesbury Hydraulics and they made them while I waited.
    took about 20-30min.
From memory they were $250-300ish for the set?

If you're in Western Sydney, i'd recommend giving them a go.
They are RTA authorised, so your lines will be ADR compliant

You can get Goodridge braided lines from here for 58.76 quid: Volkswagen Brake Lines

Postage is 23 quid to Aus. I am actually wanting to get a line for my bike from there, so if you want to get from them and split shipping costs I'd be up for that.
