What for? Do you have larger brakes already?
Hi all,
I'm in the search for some braided brake lines for the GTI.
Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get a Polo specific kit? Or am I better off getting them custom made somewhere?
Cheers,
Bruno

go to Brakes Plus they make custom ones for your car as you wait same price as any kit and will meet aus regs call first as i don't think ever location does it
I have mine in stainless braided lines. Goodridge from UK. I can't remember where I bought them from... VAGonline or something when they were open. Unfortunately they have closed. I felt more positive feedback and good bites with this upgrade. There is a polo specific kit.
06 Polo GTI - REVO Stage 2 = 140kw @ wheels.
06 Golf GTI - Bluefin Stage 1 blacked out with ED30 theme, leather, xenon, etc.
Also found some goodridge kits for polo on ebay - but there are two versions: Banjo or Non Banjo and don't know what is the correct one for Polo Gti.
When i upgraded my brakes on the forester, i took my existing lines into Hawkesbury Hydraulics and they made them while I waited.
took about 20-30min.
From memory they were $250-300ish for the set?
If you're in Western Sydney, i'd recommend giving them a go.
They are RTA authorised, so your lines will be ADR compliant
They are banjo, same style ones as porsche calipers use, which I have and will be going on soon
I have 2 sets of braided lines here, Im sure MK4 GTI ones will fit
They are the ones i got from ECS, also got a set from 034 motorsoprt
You can get Goodridge braided lines from here for 58.76 quid: Volkswagen Brake Lines
Postage is 23 quid to Aus. I am actually wanting to get a line for my bike from there, so if you want to get from them and split shipping costs I'd be up for that.
