The solid seat ones req the arms to be removed, the ones in question here are not rocket science to fit

Haha. I'd say I told you so, but you'd probably hit me.

Doesn't it feel good now that its finished and you know you did it yourself?

Its not finished yet.. ran out of time, got both bushes in and 1 side is done, the other side is being a bitch and the arm doesn't want to go into the bush.. doesn't make it easy when its not going in straight!! might have to pull out the drill or file and shape it a little. hopefully ill finish it when i get home after work

yeah got the bushes in no problem, just having trouble with 1 control arm being inserted into the bush, started using ratchet straps but it doesn't seem to go in all the way, as a last resort i might have to remove the entire wishbone set and do it while its off the car but i dont want to do that because i know how hard it is to install the sway bar.

Have you done the front wishbone bush like in the photo or just the rear one in the aluminium casting.

I just knocked mine in with a dead blow mallet, as long as the insert in the bush isn't hooked up on the edge of the subframe, it should go in.

Try starting off with the wishbone exactly parallel to the ground. If you start ratcheting it in at an angle it may catch. Also make sure you have lubed up the bush and the end of the control arm.

Remember the bush has a hex hole, so you need to make sure the hex on the arm lines up too.

Also, you did ensure you inserted the bush with the flush side at the back and the concave face at the front?
