Bugger - sorry to hear that petter. Good luck getting it fixed. Got any pics of the damage?
Ummmmmm....................my GTI has done 13,000kms now and in that time I've had two $36 car washes that look good from 200 metres.
I personally washed my car for the first time since I owned it Saturday just gone and what a bloody process in no water Qld.
Go to Car Lovers at 5.00am so you can take your time with a bucket and various cleaning items and try and do the bulk with their scratchy stuff and then finesse with your expensive stuff.
Found some scratches and quite a few stone chips.
How depressing!!!
Ah well....when you buy it you know that's as good as it will ever be.
And then, on Monday, a silly little Y on her way to work runs into my car and buggers the driver side rear quarter panel.
Sigh.......

Ah mate get the cut and polish out! And on the bright side - They'll be repsraying that bit when you get it fixed, maybe you could get them to respray any bad areas while they're at it
Little while ago I spent the day washing + polishing + waxing my car and it came up incredibly well. All is not lost![]()

DONT USE CUT AND POLISH~!
Cut and polish is NOT designed for cars with a clear coat, you WILL do more harm than good.
Use a proper chemical scratch remover that is designed for clear coated cars.
