For those who have/are wanting a BMC CDA and are going down the smaller battery route.

    Thumbs up

So your game enough to spend over $500 for under 1-2kw difference?

Without being blunt, would that be classified as a intelligent purchase?

Personally, I wouldn't go down that route. I really posted the link for others who are considering that route. Whether it's an intelligent purchase, well that's up to them.

    Hoyhoy.

Me found that the K&N panel made some difference, but then this one was better still.

I can't guarantee it, but the Fabia and Ibiza's are almost exactly the same car as the GTI, pretty much everything is interchangable even if this is designed for a diesel. Best bet would be to get in touch with Jabba themselves, they're a pretty hot parts and tuning company in the UK, had quite a few of their parts on my old Fabia VRS. If it does fit I might pick one up when I'm next over there

    Thanks mate.

Eddy, does it provide alot more induction noise?

I currently have a PD160 intake and a panel K&N in standard airbox but might have to try this one out.

    Hoyhoy.

There is some extra induction noise but I wouldn't say it is a lot.
The performance gain from this one is worth the $'s.
It also fits in the standard air box 10 times better (it's a perfect fit) than the panel one which flexes on the rubber edges & can slip inside the box.
I didn't mean for that to sound so full of sex, but it is a sexy set up.
