    Big Brake Kit

    Hey all,

Im running the ecs stage 3 bbk on my car. Have had the kit installed for a while and from day one I've always been unhappy with the pedal feel. Have to double tap to get a proper feel. Im looking into upgrade everything else around the calipers, so am looking into brake master/booster and braided lines. I do remember reading somewhere that an mk4 r32 setup might solve the issue, no clue though. Would anyone be able to shed any light on this?

    Thanks in advance

Think they are like 332mm up front. I had a R32 setup that I got ride of because I bought these. Brakes are fine, I'm just hopping to rectify the master/booster, lines so i can get a better pedal feel

I had the S3/TT brakes all round on my car, and could never get a good pedal. It didn't make sense - OEM parts should have been fine. I once, years on, used a hand-pump style of pressure bleeder. Amazing. Why didn't I do it earlier... It was such a small amount of air in the fronts

    Just a thought!

I've used both manual bleeder and a compressor bleeder, cant get a good feel, still feels like there's some air in there

Thanks for the reply! That looks interesting. Have you got a picture of it mounted in the engine bay? I never actually thought about firewall flex; thats a good point

Yes it's quite common mod in the Subaru world with off-the-shelf aftermarket parts available: https://www.mrtperformance.com.au/br...3d-139405.html
