Question Bang for buck fabrication jobs...

Got a few things in mind for the GTI,

There are some recommended off the shelf mods that everyone has on their lists, SEAT intake, FMIC etc, but wondering where to go to with the fabrication skills...

Thought about knock up a fixed front strut support or a DP, just wondering what to look at first. Water jet cut wheel spacers?

    Any thoughts?

Just after cheap fun gains, rather than world beating performance. I can just about make anything, or at least try. Not past considering batch production if it's an easy enough job, or worth enough to someone. As i mentioned in the introduction post i use registered versions of Solidworks and supporting CNC software. Bodgy jobs are written off as trainng, and... I'm the boss.

Im thankful that i'm inaccessible, my customers are demanding enough but having said that, do you live in a Austpost black hole? Excusing variations in manufacturing, the cars are the same, so whatever I make here should fit there. I try and steer clear of one-off fabrication tasks, they're particularly expensive in labour per finished article, and benefit only one person.

I've got two weeks before work kicks off full time, so now is the time for your ideas...

The main things that get overly expensive and restictive on our cars tend to be:
    -suspension geometry
    -exhausts (as no local production).

Braces are good, but there was a recent batch buy, so not much market.

If you had a full exhaust kit that was cost efective and worked well, i'd likely be in.
If you could work out a better system for adjustable top mounts to adjust the caster, I'd be very interested.

No great ideas here, just thoughts...

I would be interested in that too and adjustable lower control arms, too hard to fab up ?

Like this, Ray uses them on his Bagged A3, not sure how different the polo ones are
