Auto transmission help

Hoping someone might know what the problem could be with the auto transmission, when I slow down and then accelerate without coming to a stop, the gear box sometimes gives a hard "bump", also sometimes it would take a second or two to select the correct gear, causing the car to jerk slightly. What would the fix be, if any?

Change the oil and screen
