Those of you had chipped, posssible to share dyno chart? That would be great to see if there's anything being sacrificed at the low-end revs.

With chipping and sprint booster, it'll be sleeper shopping trolley at night hahaha
Lol, don't get a sprint booster... learn to drive properly instead. You will need to learn to use less accelerator rather than have it at full throttle half way down.

Before I went with a particular chip I trialled all 3 major brands (APR, GIAC & REVO).

I was looking for smooth power delivery but price also played a part. The Revo tune felt stronger at high RPM but wasn't as smooth or as torquey below 4000rpm as APR and GIAC. APR and GIAC felt very similar with both been smoother at lower RPM (2K-4Krpm).

The prices I was quoted at the time were:

APR $1850 for two programs (this has now dropped to $1590)
REVO $1499 + $299 for the switch with 2 programs ($50 for each additional program)
GIAC $1200 + $249 for the switch with 2 programs ($50) for each additional program)

So I went with GIAC as I was on a budget and they all felt just as powerful as each other.

Also GIAC was the last tune that I trialled and they were the only ones who erased previous flashes from the ECU before installing there software. This means that if a dealer plugs in there computer they will only see that the car has been flashed once.

Please don't take this as me being biased towards GIAC as the tunes were all very similar so I'm just trying to be as informative as I can

They are undetectable apart from the dealer been able to see how many times the car has been tuned with APR and REVO.

I got the trial for GIAC last out of the 3 and by then once the guy at GIAC had plugged his computer in it was saying that my car had been flashed 4 times with the 2 probably been at the dealer and 1 APR trial and 1 REVO trial. When the GIAC trial had been done the computer was only showing that my car had been tuned/flashed once as they delete the previous information from the ECU.

With APR and REVO if you were trying to get warranty work done and the dealer saw through VAGCOM that your car had been flashed several times they may then start to question if the car had had work done to it.....

This does not happen. I can speak for APR when I say they remove all code signatures etc. when the flash is purchased ... I'm pretty sure REVO would be the same.

Not sure about when you purchase the tune but they certainly don't when they load the trial.

callen: they don't show in VAGCOM at all.

The only time they show is if the dealer tries to reflash with their stock map it will say 'are you sure you want to go over the current map'.
